Individual Therapy

For the woman ready to explore the deeper terrain of who she is so she can resurface more rooted, more alive, and more herself than before.

Serving the San Francisco Bay area

Growth — real growth — is messy.

It's uncomfortable, it shows up without warning, and at times it can feel like you're moving backwards.

That's why when growth comes calling, most people look the other way. It's easier to stay on the familiar, well-trodden path of being the over-capable, ever-dependable glue keeping it together for everyone else than to admit that something about that life no longer feels fulfilling.

But this comfort has a cost. Maybe you've just started to sense it, or have made some deep strides yet something still feels stuck. Either way, the longer you tend to everyone's needs but your own, the further you drift from the whole woman you actually are, and from what most wants to be expressed through you.

There is another path. One that opens up to something wilder. Something truer. You don’t know where it leads, but something in you knows you deserve to find out.

This restlessness isn't a warning sign. It's the most alive part of you asking for your attention

This is therapy for women who are ready to go deeper and fully inhabit who they already are. Not to fix or change. But to listen to the voice inside that has always wanted to be expressed, created, and lived out in the world.

Individual Therapy

For women who are ready for more than a surface-level life, and want something different than talk therapy to help them get there.

You're no stranger to therapy and inner work. You've grown in ways that deeply matter. But understanding yourself and fully inhabiting your life are two very different things — and if you're here, you've probably started to feel the gap between them.

My approach to therapy fills that gap. It's relational, body-based, and soul-honoring. We explore what's calling you, and confront head-on what's standing in the way of you becoming your most true and whole self.

And when you do?

  • You stop falling into old roles that no longer fit and start showing up as the you you were always meant to be

  • You learn to carry your wounds without being run by them

  • You develop the capacity to meet life fully — the ease and the challenges, the joy and the grief — without needing to escape any of it

  • You begin to hear yourself clearly and trust your instincts

  • You enter this season of life feeling steady and grounded, wild and free, all at the same time

This isn't traditional talk therapy...

Where traditional therapy helps you understand yourself, this work asks you to inhabit yourself — to fully, actively, and intentionally live your wild life. Here's what walking this path with me looks like:

  • Embodied Practices

I draw on a range of psychotherapeutic practices (such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and Hakomi) to bring the whole of you into the work beyond your thoughts. Your body, your instincts, and the parts of you that words don't always reach have much to share, and we'll explore them together.

  • Rooted in Nature

Nature is both our wisest teacher and most compassionate vessel for growth. We'll lean on nature for a deeper, older intelligence and perspective that shifts how we see ourselves and the world. And when the time is right, we take the work outside onto the land itself where nature stops being a metaphor and becomes the experience itself.

  • Set With Intention

The core invitation of our work is a single question: What are you cultivating? Not what are you fixing, what are you escaping, or how should you be different — but what are you tending? Where is your attention going? How are you relating to what arises? And then practicing this outside of our sessions so this becomes your way of living.

  • Embracing Wholeness

You were made to feel the full spectrum of this life. The joy and the grief, the clarity and the confusion, the seasons that feel easy and the ones that ask everything of you. This work is about building the inner ground to meet the whole of life with your whole self.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

MEET ZOE

Our time together is a collaborative, co-created, exploration

As someone who's walked this path before, I am deeply passionate about helping women discover the depths of their being to experience the fullness of life. Helping you discover your voice, use it with conviction, and create the life you were always meant for is my life's work. And I bring myself fully to that. I connect to the depths in me and all my own wisdom, and meet you in yours.

I believe you are whole. I believe you are capable.

So much of our suffering comes from the belief that what is happening to us shouldn't be happening. The work we do together is not about fixing what's wrong. It is about finding the freedom that lives inside a radical, transformative acceptance of what is.

We start in a place that may feel different to what you've tried before: with what is already whole and healed in you. Then, we use that as the solid ground for everything else to come.

Together we will tend the deep, sturdy, compassionate container that already lives within you. You will learn to welcome all that is here. When we do that authentically, things come into right alignment. The next steps naturally emerge.

Is this for you?

Women who benefit most from working with me are eager to grow, not just heal. If you want to feel fully alive and aren't afraid to embrace the wholeness of this wild, beautiful life, this work is for you. If you're wondering what it's like to work with me, it's good to know that...

֍ This is work.

My style of therapy involves deep work where I'm here to guide and support you, but you are the driver of change. It's not a good fit for those seeking passive support or a place to air frustrations. But if you're ready to show up honestly, engage deeply, and truly dive in, I’m here to swim those waters with you.

֍ Wounds can be gifts.

We often want to fix or forget our wounds. But often, the places where you’ve struggled most are often where your deepest gifts live. You’ll learn to understand, relate to, and carry your wounds in a way that brings more depth and fullness to your life.

֍ We turn toward what's hard.

Life is full of complexities. In fact, that's what makes it so beautiful! So when we avoid what’s hard or difficult, we miss the opportunity to live in fullness. Our work is not about avoiding the tough parts, but learning to see that beauty and difficulty are inseparable, and that turning towards it all gives us true joy and meaning.

I'll guide you on the path ahead.
But what unfolds when you take it is up to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with women, primarily in their 30s to 50s, who are navigating midlife transitions—career shifts, peri/menopause, relationship changes, and spiritual questions. My clients are ready to reconnect with themselves and step into a fuller, more aligned version of their lives.

My approach is particularly meaningful for women who sense that something in them is ready to be expressed or lived more fully. Often this feels like something is tugging at you but you aren't quite sure what. Other times, a soul-level calling is making itself heard, loud and clear. Either way, if you find yourself stuck in patterns of over-giving, fear, self-abandonment, or difficulty fully stepping into being seen and expressing yourself, this work is for you.

  • Most often, I work with women who are navigating the kinds of transitions that ask them to grow, not just cope. This might look like a shift in identity, relationships, or purpose. It might be the particular terrain of perimenopause, an empty nest, a career change, or a growing sense that the life you've been living no longer fits the woman you're becoming. Often it's less about a specific issue and more about a felt sense that something is ready to shift, and a readiness to finally give it your full attention.

I have deep experience supporting women through:

    • Navigating perimenopause and menopause

    • Midlife transitions and identity shifts

    • Anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout

    • Spiritual and existential questions

    • Trauma healing and inner child work

    • Building clarity, confidence, and purpose

If you're working through something different, or want to know more about how I can support you, we can explore this further in your discovery call

  • I see clients for in-person sessions at my offices in Berkeley and Sebastopol. We can also work together remotely for those in other areas of California through online telehealth sessions.

I also offer land-based services in Sebastopol and Berkeley for those who want to venture into ‘walk and talk’ explorations in nature.

  • A typical session is 50 minutes. Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, depending on your goals. I also like to tailor sessions offering longer deep dives as needed and in alignment with your goals.

In most cases, we'll work in cycles—deep dives for a period of time, then, when we agree it’s time, you step back into life. When something new arises, you return for another focused episode of support. This honors your autonomy and natural rhythms of growth.

  • Individual therapy sessions are $225/50-minute session.
